Minalungao parkNueva Ecija is a landlocked province in the Central Luzon region and is bordered to Bulacan, Aurora, Pampanga, Tarlac, Nueva Vizcaya and Pangasinan. It's main attraction is the Pantabangan River, another is the Pampanga river, cutting across a rich valley floor, famed for irrigation, the generation of hydroelectric power, and the mitigation of flood damage. The main industry is agriculture and the most important crops are corn, onion and rice. They call it the Rice Granary or the Rice Bowl of the Philippines. Other major crops are garlic , mango, eggplant, and banana. The May and June Festivals in Nueva Ecija are important. Christian observances that are also occasions to ask for favors in ensuring a good harvest. Several areas have mineral deposits. Copper and manganese have been found in Gen. Tinio, Carranglan, and Patabangan.
